Mövenpick Hotel Doha

Hotel is in a excellent location, close to the airport and not far from town and attractions. Interior is excellent, and same can be said about staff, always excellent with service and greeting. However, it is a shame that the room cannot be in the same bracket nor the exterior 1st impressions. Exterior of the building makes the hotel look rundown, the rooms decor is like it was a rush job finish with paint on the lights, some areas chipping away, silicone on tiles in bathroom, old vents breaking apart, spot lights coming down. Similar can also be said about quality of food, same food day-in, day-out for lunch and dinner if you have half-board/full-board bookings as it is the same constant menu.. but more variety if you choose to pay for food which is totally mind-puzzling. In short, hotel needs a full refurb and menu needs work over. Main thing that gives the hotel justice is the service and only reason for putting 3*

An excellent two nights spent at this very nice hotel with excellent staff and great food in the restaurant. The room was very clean, spacious and well maintained and had a great view overlooking the sea. Really nice to also get an upgrade and be able to check-in early. This will be my first choice of places to stay if I return to Doha.

There is a variety of the food they offer here, for today, their menu was seafood. I like the food and how helpful the staff were. Special mention goes to Sir Lester John and Abdurahman, they indeed extended their hand in serving us what we need and what we request. Will surely go back to here again.

Excellent breakfast services by Vishnu, Judith and Wah Wah, spacious clean rooms and well made up and cleaned by Veronica. Beautiful view to the sea from our room we will certainly come back. The coffee is great and always enough good double espressos.
