Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Good service and attentive staff. The hotel spa, Elements Spa has a wide range of massage treatments. Jacuzzi, steam room and suana are all very clean. Mr Sang, Ms Thao and Ms Phuong are all very courteous and professional in their respective roles.

체크인 할때부터 담당 직원분께서 (qao? 이름 정확히 기억을 못해서 죄송하네요ㅠ)너무 친절하게 룸 업그레이드 도와주셨고 스테이 후에 다른 호텔로 옮기기로 되어있었는데 공항까지 셔틀로 이동후에 다른호텔 셔틀 이용해도 된다고 예약까지 도와주셔서 잘 이동했습니다. 스테이동안에도 얼굴 마주치면 인사해주시고 마지막에 떠날때도 아이에게 인형과 풍선까지 주시면서 배웅해주셔서 너무 감사했어요. Phu 매니저분도 너무 친절하게 도움이 필요할때 도와주셨고 한국어 열심히 배우시는 prey 직원분도 모벤픽에 머무르는 한국 분들에게 좋은 서비스 제공하기 위해 노력하시는 모습이셨어요. 무었보다 합리적인 숙박료에 깨끗한 룸상태, 음식, 뷰등 모든게 너무 만족스러웠던 스테이였습니다! 화장실 샤워부스에 물때하나 없었고 아침마다 리조트 직원분들 유리 난간부터 하나하나 다 청소하고 정돈하시는 모습에 감동받았습니다! 초콜릿 아워에 제공되는 솜사탕 아이가 너무 좋아했고 아코르 플랫 멤버에게 제공되는 해피아워도 너무 좋았습니다~~!! 버블폼파티도 즐거웠구요. 솔직히 기대 많이 안하고 방문했었는데 저는 개인적으로 풀만보다 훨씬 만족스러웠던 스테이였습니다! 다음번에 푸꾸옥에 또 가면 무조건 모벤픽으로 다시 갈것 같아요~!!

The resort is lovely with great pool area, rooms very nice. My experience with the staff has been atrocious, to the point that it has tainted my whole stay of Phu Quoc which is a shame. We had 2 pool rooms booked and are Accor plus members. My daughter and SIL got Food poisoning and didn’t leave the room for 2 days, they were so sick couldn’t let housekeeping in. She ordered some food on room service as I arranged “member for a day” on Accor plus. Dispute multiple conversations the resort would NOT honour the 50% discount as it does not apply for room service. While I understand the policy, I thought that this could be overlooked due to them being so sick and could not leave their room to get food ( at the time of ordering one of them was not too bad) I am stil doubtful where the food poisoning came from we all ate the same during the day. They both had the same meal at the resort that evening and were both very sick after. Management stated that it was investigated and not their food!!!!! They arranged a Dr who was very good, despite language barrier, He said he would write down what tablets to take and come back and check on her, when this didn’t happen I had to google every one and give to her. On discharge today they were treated like criminals with housekeeping taking pictures of shelves as a cup was missing- they hadn’t left the room in 3 days it will be there!! We have 2 more days left and I just want to leave and never return. They have made everything so time consuming and difficult it has consumed the last 3 days. I am at a loss that such a large chain resort would allow guests to be treated so poorly. I asked to at least move my daughter’s room service bill to my room as I didn’t want her to have more stress on checkout. I was promised that yes they could do this. It didn’t happen, Check everything at reception they don’t follow through with anything Worst hotel experience ever,

The room is so spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was various of choice, the staff were all very friendly, especially Jelin and Mai Anh were supported us a lot with useful knowledges, professtional job during the time we stayed at hotel, definitely will be back next time
