Unforgettable experience!

Our experience as a family was amazing with our stay at the family suite that has a direct view on the main swimming pool. The staff and service were top notch. Everything and everyone was perfectly organized. Helpful and friendly staff. In-room dining was great as well with variety of delicious options. Definitely would recommend this place for a small family to enjoy and relax.

Its such a pleasure to stay at Movenpick BDMS Resort Bangkok. I would highlight the frontline team at my arrival, Ms. MON and concierge team is always helpful. The Nourish Restaurant was served perfect breakfast and again all the team was very friendly. I would recommend this Hotel. Thank you for all the Head Managers to look after my stay here with my family.

ALMOST PERFECT: I'm very fussy and I was thrilled with this hotel.

This hotel is an undiscovered gem. I could write so much about it that it would result in an essay, so let me go with dot points: GOOD: 1. We booked a 'wellness suite'. It was really roomy with a comfortable couch and chairs/table in a separate room to the beds. Beds were super comfortable. The room overlooked a khlong so we could watch the boats coming up and down. This was interesting and not in the least disturbing. 2. Breakfast is probably the best I have ever encountered, and I travel A LOT. The food and choices were endless. You could go with the 'health' theme and feast on mangos, mangosteens, papaya etc, there was a frozen yoghurt machine with all the toppings to make.a smithy bow, any fresh squeezed juice you could imagine. However, hubby always went for eggs, bacon and baked beans. There were also local food options which changed each day. 3. Nice big pool. Good temperature 4. We were ACCOR Platinum so we had afternoon tea and evening canapés. Both were of a good variety and tasty. With lounge access came free soft drinks and tea coffee all day. We don't drink alcohol so not sure about that. 5. The location is excellent. A quick walk up the back lane takes you to Central Shopping Centre. 6. Khum Hom, the in house restaurant was excellent. We ate there twice and it was truly delicious. 7. The staff were so friendly and helpful. An outstanding order of merit must go to Pong in the breakfast buffet. Just the most friendly, helpful and fun staff member ever: don't ever let him go, he made our stay. Other worthy mentions include Wud in Guest Regulations and Pai on Concierge Desk. NOT SO GOOD: 1. The hotel inside was like a refrigerator, all the time. I couldn't enjoy the exec lounge at all as it was just too cold,, and we didn't expect to have to bring warm clothes to Bangkok. We rushed off to our room each night and turned up the aircon. The wing we were in (not the one with the main lobby) was beautiful, but frigid, constantly. 2. One strange thing....there was nothing in the mini bar in our suite. One was 'not allowed' to bring a can of soft drinks back to the room from the exec lounge. Being as I didn't want to freeze, while drinking it there, this was a problem. I like a soft drink at night. I would have gladly used a mini bar, but that option was not there. I found this who scenario frustrating. The 'not so good' things are small things, and I would return to the MOVENPICK BDMS in a heartbeat. And we will. This time I'll bring a jacket though.
