Never Again

Not one for writing poor reviews but this was the worst hotel we stayed in during our trip to Thailand, this was meant to be the 5 star luxury to end the trip however far from it. Check in was great, Libby entrance area great however the room was dated, the floor has bobbled from being wet, the pillows uncomfortable, the shower drainage poor and overflows the shower, no power in the shower, house keeping didn't turn up second night and although we booked 3 nights we decided to cut our losses and check out on the second night due to it being so bad. Upon checkout a disinterested lady who was disturbed playing on her phone to check out. This place is dated in the rooms and the service is poor, we would not stay here or recommend this hotel

An unforgettable and memorable experience.

I love staying here @ MOVENPICK. The hotel surrounding was very peaceful. Lots of greenery. Nice clean room comfortable bed and spacious. Would like to special mention for 2 of the staff . Bright the lady at the reception counter. And Time the concierge boy. Both of them have rendered exceptional service and go extra mile in making us feel at home. Will definitely come back to stay here again.

Five star luxury

Very nice 5 star hotel, nice pool with plenty of loungers and attentive staff, well done to Fern, Jah and the team who served us a fabulous breakfast, also located very near canal, useful for water taxi service which can connect to many parts of the city

Probably worst 5 star hotel in Bangkok

I cannot comprehend how this hotel got a 4.5 star average on the reviews. It shouldn’t even pass the 2.5-3 at best. Also do not understand how this can be a 5 star hotel. Here’s why: 1. Checkin process awful. Lady at the reception simply gives wrong indications about the hotel (e.g time of breakfast) 2. Aircon in the room has issues. We got a suite room and the living room the AC worked fine, in the bedroom no matter how low we would set the aircon, it would still blow warm air 3. Internet: Wi-Fi in the room works well only in the living room. As soon as you try to use WiFi in the bedroom, it’s either very slow or just doesn’t work 4. Breakfast options below average and even that is limited, here’s why: - breakfast menu and signage says you would have different varieties for fruits, but in reality they only have 2-3 fruits to make juice. Despite there’s a wide range of juice shown on the signage. Very limited. - ordered eggs to the table, forgot to bring it. When I notified them, they brought the eggs but cold and oily. - Noodle station saying it has 3 types of noodles, but in reality they only have 1 type. 5. In room dining order: - ordered chamomile tea and it takes very long. Had to call second time to remind them. I don’t know if it will even come…I’m writing this comment while waiting for the bloody tea. The hotel is by far not busy and they could take way better of their guests. Seems the management of this hotel is truly out of control. Being disappointed is an overstatement. I would say probably the worst 5 star hotel I’ve ever stayed.
