The company is committed to environmental sustainability, and its measures include reducing water and energy consumption through the use of energy-efficient lighting, responsible water usage, and better waste management. Employees are encouraged to undergo training to protect the environment, and guests, customers, and stakeholders are kept informed of these initiatives.

ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Mövenpick Resorts & Spa Boracay is one of the largest resorts on the island, and our vision is to become the leading premium resort in the area. To achieve this vision, we are dedicated to developing and maintaining environmental sustainability programs that ensure high environmental quality. Our focus includes the following initiatives:

  • Incorporating green practices into the resort’s daily operations.
  • Implementing a solid waste management program that promotes recycling and enhances the use of both renewable and non-renewable resources.
  • Reducing energy consumption through the efficient use of water and power.
  • Training our team, known as Heartists, and raising sustainability awareness among our guests.
  • Establishing a purchasing policy that aligns with our sustainability goals.
  • Promoting Filipino culture to our guests through food, services, and awareness.
  • Participate in various environmental activities organized by Accor, local government units, and international organizations.
  • Striving to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions at the resort.
  • Continuously monitoring our progress in implementing sustainability management programs.

Our objective is to foster sustainable business practices while maintaining our Green Globe certification.
