Beautiful stay in Giza!
Mövenpick Giza is a beautiful property with expansive gardens. It is a great place to stay due to its central location; the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) are just a 30-minute drive away, and Islamic Cairo is about 30-40 minutes in the other direction. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was large, nice, and very clean. A nice touch was that they provided unlimited bottled water whenever we asked. The laundry service was also affordable and returned within a day. The only downside was the breakfast buffet. While it had a huge variety of items, most things tasted stale, flavorless, or undercooked. The omelet station was the only saving grace. For a property at this price point, the food quality should be much better. The hotel hosts large bus groups. If you arrive at the wrong time, you might have to wait for check-in. Getting a golf cart to your unit can also be difficult during these times. Some units are a 10-minute walk from reception, which isn't convenient if you have heavy luggage.
