i stayed at movenpick hotel over christmas short family stay having some fun in the city center great breakfast / comfy beds/ ten min walk what made the whole trip was the outstanding service provided by the front desk. in particular “medi” was unbelievable! made our trip. the hotel is very lucky to have him as an employee. he was very hospitable, helped us with all our questions, and was always available/ what an absolute rock star. we will define come back to this hotel. thank you medi for such a great trip room 1017

Arrived at hotel given room checked mattress as there was a funny smell and what we found was bed bug eggs little black eggs or poo reported to reception and were given another room which we had to request to be cleaned toilet was filthy and room and beds needed vacuuming very dissatisfying as this was recommended to me would definitely not stay again or recommend 😡

Our river cruise line used this hotel for the Amsterdam extension stay. It is in the cruise terminal complex and only a 15-20 minute walk to Amsterdam central station and the old city. The city metro tram stop is out front a very short walk from the hotel. The standard rooms are modern, quiet, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and couch. Our room was on the 15th floor with a wonderful view of the harbor. We had drinks and desert one night in the bar and were promptly served.

We upgraded our room to junior suite and was pleasantly impressed. Lovely view. Two nights with extra bed and breakfast was great.

Close to Amsterdam Central Station. Very clean, nice and comfortable rooms. Beautiful canal view from breakfast hall. Has good and delicious breakfast options. Besides there is a halal food section in breakfast. Amazingly helpful staff. Overall; it is recommended. Rooms were kind of noise proof. We almost didn't hear anything from outside of the room. P.S. if you go with small kids, you might want to use Uber or taxi. There is a tram stop which is very close too. Number 26 gets there.
