Movenpick Hotel Nurnberg Airport -- Convenient to the Airport and to Public Transportation

Very nice stay at the Movenpick Hotel Nurnberg Airport. The hotel is literally right across the street from the terminal and is thus incredibly convenient for late arriving or early departing flights. It is also across the street from the U-bahn (line U2), so it is only 15 minutes or so from the HBF and the Old Town. The hotel was clean, quiet, and while not state of the art, was very nice for a two-night stay. Breakfast was excellent and the fitness center was good. The staff at the front desk was professional and helpful. As is the norm for European hotels, the room was smaller than comparable hotels in North America, but it was clean and had all the amenities. The bathroom and shower were a bit smaller than even the European norm but certainly acceptable. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The question I ask when I write a review is "would I stay here again." Without doubt the answer is yes. Convenient to the airport and convenient to the center of the city--that is a nice combination.

Bad food

The breakfast at this hotel is very poor. Scrambled eggs are the worst ugliest I've ever been served in any hotel.. missing orange juice after a day with colored water in it. It is not possible to send a written email to the hotel. Only get a return by email even if you use a link on their website. A bad breakfast gives the impression of a bad hotel. although the room is okay enough.

Sehr freundlicher Service, schönes Zimmer

Wir haben für eine Nacht vor dem Abflug unseres Flugzeugs gebucht. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Nachdem wir das Zimmer (sehr ruhig) bezogen hatten, haben wir das Hotel noch einmal verlassen. An der Rezeption wurden wir beim Rausgehen gefragt, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit sei und ob wir noch etwas benötigten. Das ist keineswegs selbstverständlich. Im Restaurant haben wir noch eine Kleinigkeit gegessen, auch dort war der Service ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Vorzüglich

Möglichst vor und nach jeder Flugreise suche ich das Mövenpick Hotel am Albrecht-Dürer-Flughafen Nürnberg auf, denn es ist mir zu einer Art Heimat geworden. Wer von einer anstrengenden Reise zurückkommt, auf den warten ein höchst bequemes Bett mit Daunendecke und schalldichte Fenster sowie oft ein Upgrade aufs Zimmer bezüglich Minibar-Inhalt und Kaffeemaschine . Vom nahen Flugbetrieb bekommt man kaum etwas mit. An der Rezeption wurde ich wieder sehr freundlich aufgenommen, ja die Angestellte erkundigte sich sogar per Telefon, ob im Zimmer alles in Ordnung sei und die Raumtemperatur stimme. Phantastisch! Absolutes Highlight ist jedoch das Hotelfrühstück, das man in aller Ruhe genießen sollte aufgrund der unglaublichen Vielzahl an qualitativ hochwertigen Speisen und Getränken und wegen des freundlichen Service. Dieses Hotel ist mein non plus ultra in Franken. Läge es in meiner Heimatstadt, würde ich wahrscheinlich ganz dorthin übersiedeln wollen wie Udo Lindenberg ins Hamburger Atlantik.

Prima, harde bedden.

Leuke ligging zo tegenover airport. Als tussen hotel geboekt onderweg naar huis. Niet duur, op oog nette kamer. Wel vieze gordijnen, los stopcontact en een afschuwelijke slaapbank. Heel wat gewend, maar na 1,5 uur geen bloedtoevoer meer in lijf. Dus slapeloze nacht gehad. Nooooit meer. Ontbijt een goed. Melding over stopcontact en zeer slechte slaapbed/bank werd niet erg veel mee gedaan en laks op gereageerd. Parkeergeld 28,00 per dag is ook erg veel. Naast hotel zit parkeergarage, denk dat die een heel stuk goedkope is, is 1 minuut lopen.
