Had a super stay at Movenpick in May for 4 nights. The place as a good lict of activities for everyone's taste to keep you occupied. Access to a super blue beach is an added advantage. Staff is superhelp, and always eager to help you. Special mention for Ms Huyen at Accor Platinum lobby front office.
I give a star for resort because of all kids activities they have. However, I suggested that you speak English then they will treat you nicer. Otherwise, they will treat you like you are not even there. Food: good, I have fullboard dinning. Therefore, I have variety of choices to pick from either buffet or set menu. If you eat buffet then you can drink tap water for free, other drinks you will have to pay including juices, softdrinks, coffee …. (Unless you pay for lunch/dinner buffet at the resort). No one explaining to us until they come and tell you: sorry mam you can only drink tap water with your fullboard dinning voucher lol. What even worse, if you chose to eat at tropicana restaurant near beach, they wont even provide you tap water. All drink have to be out of pocket. But wait.. I thought I bought fullboard vacation??? Room: I stayed 3 days 2 nights at Junior Suite room. Each floor has only 2 rooms at each end. The room is very nice, it has nice view but I do not recommend you to stay because sleeping area where the bed is, the temperature is unbelievable hot. It made me and my kids sweat and couldnt sleep well. They provided you a fan but it was loud and no help. I never stay at a 5 stars hotel like this before. Services: do not even this. They will devided you as viet group, korean group, ect…. If you are foreigners, they will treat you better, we traveled with 8 kids, we have to wait forever minibus to pick us up. They picked up others foreigners because we are vietnamese. So we usually have to walk to pool, restaurant and the beach. I have to wait for breakfast tables and I have 3 little kids. They asked me to go upstairs for breakfast and I already told them I have many kids and it’s inconvenient for us to walk up and down, i waked in there are plenty of tables available in the back. Again another worker asked me to gở upstairs, i said i cant I have little kids, he asked back: WHY CANT YOU GO UPSTAIRS? lol what even funnier is that, there were 3 korean ladies came after me they hurried and provided table for them right away, they didn’t even ask them to go upstair or whatsoever. ECT…. I have worse nightmares at this resort. It was even worse than Selectum Noa. I will definitely not coming back here Period
Beautiful resort style hotel, nice clean beach. Enjoyed the 24hr gym. The stand out was the great service we received. Big shout out to Summer who was exceptional from her prompt responses to emails, to the warm welcome at check in and going above and beyond to make us feel like VIP guests.
Even though this is a family-centred resort, I felt well taken care off as a solo guest who spent 9 nights here. Every one of the staff I met was warm and helpful. Special mention to a supervisor at the front desk (I forgot to note his name) and Timmy. At F&B, Mong, Thao and the staff at the breakfast pastry station (who noticed my penchant for pancakes and offered me fresh made ones - excellent service attention). I chose this resort specifically for the view from the room and wasn't disappointed. Glad I was at the condo side as the room was equipped with a washing machine but could be a hassle when you need to wait for the buggy to the main building. The breakfast buffet spread is as with a 5-star resort. Enjoyed the fresh pressed juices and fresh cut fruits. For families with young children, this is the resort for you. For solo travellers looking for a relaxing break as I did, this place can work as well.
This is a wonderful resort & spa. It has a huge number o villas that include a private plunge pool. If you make your reservation follow it up with asking if they are offering a deal for the villas. They are fabulous. I have been traveling from the southern point of Vietnam to the North to see where the best beaches are and so far Nah Trang is the best one. The water is clear and has that Caribbean green and blue look. The food was generally good but the offerings are limited to two main restaurants. The variety is good for the market that they are targeting... What is that? Families This place is great if you have young children. There are activities all day long and water slides. They have activities for the families in the pool including a bubble foam machine that they turn on in the afternoon to play with the kids. Every afternoon they have a one hour free chocolate tasting with cakes, fruits and of course a chocolate fountain. It is free so enjoy. While we were here they had a live concert by the beach. I do not know if this is something they do on a regular basis. They do have a full service spa to enjoy and get pampered. All in all it is a great place to have a family vacation. Check it out
