Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay

This is our 4th consecutive time staying at Movenpick Resort as a family. The location is just what we need as we settle down from a long years of work. We absolutely Love the hospitality of the staff, the beautiful views of the sunset with the beach, the pools, the many food options and just the home away from home feeling. The beach is always clean, the lifeguards are always there to help the staff is always available to assist for drinks or food at the pool and we just feel relaxed which is the goal of vacations. The atmosphere when we go in either November or December is usually low key and relaxed. We can spend a day lounging at the pool or beach or enjoying activities via their booth near the beach with Scotty’s Action Sports which is amazing. The rooms have everything we need for the family, comfy beds and amenities that you’ll need. The value is good overall for what you get but you have to remember you get what you pay for. Another great feature is the transfer service to/from the airport very seamless along with the shuttle that brings you to downtown and can bring you back as well. A particular staff member who always makes memorable impressions with her pleasant and kind personality is Juleevie. She usually helps us in the morning during breakfast but has been a consistent staff member for us on all four vacations. She is very courteous in attending to our almost 6 yr old daughter as well as helping us with questions and just making sure we have everything we need. Juleevie has exceptional customer service and is always willing to help or just recognize us no matter the day or time. Staff members like Juleevie are what make the vacation feel relaxed and like home and remind us why we always come back each year. Thank you so much.

This hotel is very close to our hearts. We stayed here on our first family trip to Boracay (and actually my very first trip to Boracay, too) 2 years ago and it was a no-brainer to book here again this time. We loved it so much the last time and still didn’t disappoint this time. It has such a homey atmosphere for us - the location has a lot of trees, their area is not too big that you won’t feel guilty just to lounge around the pool all day, it’s beach area is very serene and clean, their facilities are enough for what you need for staying in Station 0. They also have a free scheduled shuttle if you need to go to the main stations. The best part of our stay there were the staff. All of them are very welcoming, accommodating and professional. Axl, Sam, Marisol and Donna were the ones we got most acquainted with and worth mentioning. So thank you Movenpick and we sure will be back when we’re in Boracay again.

We reserved a sunset picnic here at the Movenpick hotel and it was worth doing on your trip to Boracay! The food was enough for the 4 of us and our private waiter, Myje catered to our every need including taking a lot of photos for us. He was there from beginning to end and even set up chairs so we did not miss out on the fire dance performance. Overall we had a great time and I highly recommend doing this experience and requesting Myje as your private waiter!

The hotel is so far from the "dmall" area and the free shuttle only goes a few times a day on unconvinent times. The hotel beach is full of rocks and not clean which makes it difficult to swim. The shower in the hotel room doesn't have hot water which sucks when your coming back from swimming. The staff in the lobby are super unfriendly and not helpful at all. I believe the upper management teach them these manners since all of them I dealt with were the same. I realized I could've booked a better hotel for the same price. What a shame this hotel was! Don't book this hotel and ruin your vacation!
