This airport hotel presents a mixed experience that warrants a 3-star rating, showing both strengths and areas needing improvement. The staff provides a bright spot in the experience, particularly the airport shuttle driver who delivers exceptional service. Their friendly and professional approach demonstrates that quality hospitality remains a priority at the property. However, the hotel's physical condition shows significant signs of aging. The rooms particularly reflect this wear, falling below the standards typically associated with the Mövenpick brand. The dated furnishings and general condition indicate an urgent need for renovation and updating. The disparity between the quality of service and the physical state of the facilities creates an uneven experience. While the staff maintains high service standards, the aged infrastructure detracts significantly from the overall stay. For an airport hotel bearing a premium brand name, the current state of the rooms fails to meet expectations. A comprehensive renovation would help bring the physical facilities up to par with the quality of service provided by the staff. While the hotel remains functional for airport stays, travelers should adjust their expectations regarding room conditions until renovations are completed. The friendly service, particularly the shuttle service, provides some compensation for the dated facilities.

Very poor hotel, the wifi not only is very weak, but is unsecure.. which baffles me for a convention centre.. had to go back to the airport as my laptop security at its basic level of security (couldnt go any lower or else it literally means anyone can access my personal / business records) was going crazy and blocking the connection. Would be a hackers dream if they came across this place. Only time i encounter network security this weak at island resorts. Wont even mention the service.. managers just hiding behind unequiped, ill-informed staff and wont give you the time of day if they can hide away and ill leave it at that.

I stayed at this property during my transit in KLIA. The properties offer shuttle transfer to KLIA, which is very convenient. With my Accor Platinum, I did receive an early check-in and re-arrange the breakfast to be on my day of arrival, which was great arrangement by the hotel. However, I was very disappointed with the service level of the hotel on many aspects. Firstly, the wifi signal was very weak in my room. I did complaint several times, and the front office lady promise to send an IT personnel, who never came, to fix this issue for me. Big disappointment. Secondly, the lounge service was only available for limited hours during the evening. Lastly, I was told to wait in the lobby waiting for the shuttle to KLIA. Nobody came to call me when it was the scheduled departure time. I needed to go find the shuttle and was anxious if I was left behind. Overall, a convenient transit hotel, but requires several improvements on the service.

We recently hosted our staff annual dinner at Bara Restaurant, Movenpick. The experience was outstanding! The hall was beautifully arranged, creating the perfect ambiance for the evening. The staff was professional, attentive, and ensured every detail was taken care of seamlessly. The food was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that impressed everyone. A special thanks to the event coordinator, Miss Elaine & Mr Ben for making the planning process smooth and accommodating all our requests. We highly recommend Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre for corporate events or special gatherings—it was truly a memorable evening!

Quite a nice location and accessible to many restaurants. People are nice and the staff really friendly. It is very memorable stay. Also the service in here is really great.
