Good location, 5 mins drive from main town area, with nice hotel grounds and a good, large pool. One restaurant with reasonable food, although the breakfast each day is very good with plenty of nice options, for adults and kids. And the restaurant staff are friendly, Tao was very helpful and a good communicator. The front desk staff were also helpful to arrange guest services. There was not many planned activities offered for kids, although we were there in low season so maybe that is why(?). Overall, a good option and Bang Tao is a nice, relaxed vibe.
We stayed at the two bedroom seaside villa, it was nice. Bed was comfortable, the AC was cold. Plenty of space for family to hang out in the living room area. Most plugs in the room were not available to use so we had to use only the ones located under our bedside tables, made it a little inconvenient but wasn't a big deal at all for us. Hot water was a bit tricky to use but we managed to sort it out. Breakfast selection could be improved. Overall stay was pleasant and we enjoyed our time at the Movenpick BangTao. Thank you for the great hospitality and service :)
My recent 3-night stay was truly fantastic, highlighted by an absolutely superb breakfast - honestly, the best I've enjoyed in all of Phuket! The pool area was equally delightful, offering a serene and inviting atmosphere. Having a bar right within the pool was a brilliant touch. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond with their helpfulness, always greeting guests with warm smiles. It's these small details that transform a good stay into a memorable one.
Such an amazing experience…. Beyond the amazing amenities, luxury room layout, incredible food, highest standard of cleanliness, pool/restaurants/bars we experienced the warmest hospitality I have ever experienced. We felt like a part of the family, thank you for such an amazing experience, we will be back. It is difficult to name a couple of staff that went above and beyond because all were so kind, I would however like to especially mention and thank Fang, Bryan and Orly. I will never ever forget your warm hospitality and welcoming smiles. Thank you!!!
Lovely staff everywhere from reception to ms. Hawa who made the most delicioys waffles and pacackes. Beach front hotel, quite place, nice pool, delicious breakfast, very nice and spacious room. All in all great experience for a quick scape from the hustle and bustle.
